My first and 2nd year I had only 1 pair, the third year 3 pair, the 4th year my first one didn't get back till April 26th. That year I ended up with 18 pair, I think you'll still get them, I remember feeling the same way you do. Im in alliance Ohio

when i started m colony i played it from 4 in the morning till dark, once i had 1 i turned the volume down to where i could here it max about 30 yards away, i played it that way till they were nesting then turned it of.

I got mine started on crickets, it took 2 days under 50 degrees , at first i put some crickets in there gourd which they gobbled up after that they started catching them when i flipped them, then i was able to switch to scrambled eggs. good luck

We went to see the nimisila roost last night, and about 1/2 hour before dark a thunder storm came trough but we stayed till after dark and to my surprise not a single martin showed up. I had 3 pair 13 fledged last one left today, 1 sy male 2 say male.
enjoyed them very much, looking forward to next year.

I think they need to hungry to get them started, they had'nt eaten for 2 days

asy male got back 4/21, 2 days later another say male showed and within 10 days they both had mates, then on 5/9 a sy male showed and he paired up a couple days later, so as of now i got 3 pair staying here. April 18 th the male returned 2 days later the female was back, and they stayed together for 10 days then the female left much to the dismay of the male.
