After hosting Purple Martin's several years, this is the first year tufted titmouse raised young in martin housing with Martin's all around. Two pair in fact.

How can I view the list?

My colony seems to prefer the Ash and Wild cherry leaves.

I combine the 3 to arrive at my totals. Some years back when my 30 compartment housing was full, I added another set of housing in another area and then when it almost filled, I put more at other edge of property. What I find interesting is that each of the three sets always arrive a few weeks apart...

I offer housing in three locations on my 8 acres. All are visible with the other. Which is it?⅞

I have some here in Douglas County but know about 4 landlords nearby that are still waiting.

Crows nest every year not far from my colony and for over 30 years never had an issue. When the crow has a nest and any hawk gets close by the crows 6 or 8 show up and chase the hawk away. Certainly gives my colony a heads-up.

I need to change my subject heading now. I'm no longer Waiting as two showed up this evening.

Thank you Dave concerning my arrivals soon. Maybe the warmer south winds this week will bring some activity. Along with the house posted earlier some of the other housing I use includes five modified trios and some gourd racks. This rack has natural gourds with tunnels.

I do think the gourds are the first to fill up, but this house pictured and the modified Trio houses are used also. We have found that the added tunnels really attract them, maybe they feel safer.

Need advice on attaching my photo. I clicked on - attachment, then file, then photo, but when I clicked on the actual photo nothing seemed to happen. When I clicked on preview, the attachment isn’t there.

I myself had this same issue, and fixed the problem by drilling two small holes on sides low down.

This wind today delivered me four Purple Martins today for my first report this season. This is the reason spring is my favorite time of year. Hope things go well this year.
