Expecting mine soon here in southern central Mo. around ninety cavities ready with half of them gourds. Actually next week will be better weather and that will be only a few days later than last year. This is an older house I built several years ago and the martins seem to like it(100 percent occupied last two years) but rather unhandy to raise and lower. May retire it soon. I will post again when I get an arrival. Having trouble getting the photo attached. What is the trick?

Need advice on attaching my photo. I clicked on - attachment, then file, then photo, but when I clicked on the actual photo nothing seemed to happen. When I clicked on preview, the attachment isn’t there.
Nice looking house, I can see why they like it! Do you see that they prefer gourds over houses or vice versa at your place. Mine choose the the gourds first but I had 100 percent occupancy in my Duracraft Trio last year and a couple gourds were not nested in even though occupied.

I do think the gourds are the first to fill up, but this house pictured and the modified Trio houses are used also. We have found that the added tunnels really attract them, maybe they feel safer.

Thank you Dave concerning my arrivals soon. Maybe the warmer south winds this week will bring some activity. Along with the house posted earlier some of the other housing I use includes five modified trios and some gourd racks. This rack has natural gourds with tunnels.
