thats great plum island is starting up after years of no set ups seabrook nh has a great sight and with you guys down that way things are looking up for the martins

fun spot is that the set up area in plum island whats there plans, i have 3 pairs on greateast lake in eastwakefield NH again this year

great set up in plum island mass, of gourds but it seems like the sparrows are nesting to in them,with the martins is this set up by the same group that has the set up in seabrook nh i remember back in the 60,s there were tons of martins at the plum island site way befor there were gourds, just mart...

saw my first male martin in eastwakefield NH today on greateast lake looks lonely lol

just wondering yet if the site is set up yet saw it last year its great, nothing on greateast lake yet in eastwakefield nh

mine have been left up for the last 6 years up here in NH bad winters still look great for being out side all the time

my gourds are hard to get to over a pond on a 4 by 4 these two pair of martins have used the same gourds for the last 4 years with out a nest change they do fine i guess if they were in the old days in trees it would be the same thanks for reading

my gourds are all over water never thought of them jumping out of nest i hope they can fly a little when they leave

i have two pair nesting now up in eastwakefield nh seems to be alot of dragon flys on the lake for them there just hatching up here they always hatch around this time all the tree swollows have left so now i get to watch the martins feed there young

last few years getting 4 to 5 males at my gourds and only 1 to 2 females any reason why this is happening thanks

hi i live in east wakefield NH have gourds on the lake no sparrows or starlings up here have round holes in gourds,what should i go with in FL are there lots of starlings and sparrows or other tipes of birds to worry obout getting into the gourds thanks

i live in wakefield NH THANK GOD THE MARTINS DON,T SHOW UP TILL THE MIDDLE OF JUNE the tree swallows show up at the end of april and there still is some ice on the lake and cold at night

you can put them any where close to the ground on your porch tree fence make sure the hole is smaller so bigger birds can,t get in good luck

tell them a bald eagle got killed on it they will do something about it then they don,t have to know your fibbing anything to save our martins good luck

went out on the pond today and the two nest of babys met up today they were all on the top of a dead pine missing the branches as they tried to land lol parents trying to help them out it was fun watching them making a racket to let the parents know where they are i just hope the watch out for the h...
