Martin Colony History: 2015 17 nest 87 eggs 78 hatched 78 fledged

Anyone know when martins lay eggs more in the morning r in the afternoons so when's the best te to nest check mornings r afternoon

i think you should of worded it different the question lol
anybody in NH doing purple martin watching and doing house,s and gourds

Martin Colony History: Colony started - 2007 with one pair
As of 2018 - 84 cavities offered, max # of pairs hosted - 82.

Jason, martins lay their eggs in the morning - nest checks should only be done in the afternoon, and only if it's not raining - and it's warm out.

2020 - 78 pair
2019 - 80 pair

Thanks Kathy , the reason I asked because I had checked early one morning then the next day late in afternoon and found two eggs where there was none
