This year we had the earliest first eggs ever being laid on 5/25/2010. We have had lots of rain so the insect population is plentiful. Wow, things aren't going so well here in Grand Forks this year. First Buffalo Gnats, then cold nights, and a couple rainy days resulted in many dead young. We have had six nests with all bad eggs or eggs that died before hatching. I don’t like losing so many. Sad news…
