I also have a few pairs still feeding babies. Have no way knowing whether they are late or have second clutches. The behaviour of returning to the site in daytime is a little more than normal I believe. Will be happy to hear of any new roost site.

Been a few years since I raised any gourds and now I have about 10 beauties on the vine, but I have forgotten the best time for harvesting. Seems they have to be brown and moldy first. Help me remember ! Mine are still too green.
