While outside on this beautiful day, I heard that unmistakable sound about 2:00 this afternoon. Looking up into the sky I spotted a lone male. A few hours later he was back with a female and they took up residence in one of the Troyers this evening.

Martin season is underway in Jacksonville(30 miles south of Tyler)!!

I wish I was in Dixie, well you all Texans know how the song goes! I have been noticing the scout reports for Texas. You lucky dogs. That K.C. is a true Texan through & through with those lonestar racks & houses. To much for this hillbilly pocket. I have to settle for homemade junk but these hillbilly Martins like it pretty well. Have a great Martin year you all Texans!
