These were the hard luck winners in my colony. This pair lost its first 5 eggs due to the cold easter snap. The male disappeared about the time these three hatched from the second nesting attempt. The mom did an excellent job of raising these three all by herself. All three of these fledged the morning after this photo.

What a great picture....quality, capture and the beauty of the babies...Wow :grin: :grin: :grin: They sure look healthy and fat, just the way we want them. The mom did a superb job raising them all by herself.Thanks for posting this awesome picture and best wishes for next season :wink:
