Montoursville PA

Does anyone live near Montoursville? I have a sister in law that just moved there with her husband. They are getting into feeding the birds, they have GFs, Robins, Hummers but I was wondering how the population of Martins is out there. I am sure I can talk them into trying if there is some possibility. They really love my Martins and take a lot of photos when they are here. I think I will buy them a Martin house for Christmas. They are not on the water but have open space, there is a lake approx. 5 miles away from them. What are the chances?

Jayne, I think their chances are good for attracting Purple Martins. There are successful Purple Martin colonies in Williamsport which is just to the west of Montoursville.
