House Cleaning

I'm ready to take my aluminum Trio TG12 house down. I'm, as I usually do, going to scrub it clean and store it away until next season. Of course, I could just use warm soapy water, but in the past I have heard of more creative solutions, with disinfectant and miticide qualities, but I forgot exactly what these mixtures were. I would like to hear some different suggestions. How about it?

I clean mine, use about 25% clorox water to wash it down, hose it clean, and the spray a light coat of sevin into the housing to kill any residual mites, then store it for the winter.
