I put up a new Trio house last year with the new landyard system for easier lowering and raising of the house. I read a couple of posts on the Forum about the unbearable noise it makes when you raise the house.
Well, now my house is making that same noise!!!!
I was wondering if there was an easy remedy to fix this problem?? I have an older model of the Trio without the landyard system and it does'nt make near the noise. I've been thinking of removing the landyard and just using the pulley system. Today, I bought a can of silicone and sprayed that on the pole and that seemed to help... Any solutions out there that have worked??

Jim,
If you go to the bottom of the PMCA Home page and search on the word "noise" you will find that the second listed document provides a solution. You might consider using a hardwood such as oak instead of plywood, however, and soaking it in wood preservative, too.
