Replacing original rope on a Troyer PM pole. How long should the original rope last? Also, any tips on installing a new one.
I have a rather large owl guard on my one pole which I'm sure will complicate things.

Thanks.
Hanover Bill.

My original AAA gourd rack is over 15 years old and I check it every year and seems to still be in good shape. Before Troyer bought out the gourd rack business started in the rope business. I would call them directly with any questions. He can tell you if you need to upgrade the rope due any additional weight from the owl guards.
