Hello
Pole guard
Around here never had the need for one
Since I read a post talking about a pole guard
I went web surfing To check them out
Seemed to be quiet pricey
As I see it ] Its just a pipe over another pipe
? So why couldn't you use a PVC pipe over the pole for a ground guard
Or am I missing something here
Later Unk
? ? ?

That's what I was using, a 4 foot long piece of 6 inch pvc (drain pipe). I cut a triangle hole in the end cap just big enough to fit my S&K Tri-tel pole for the top. I also used netting at the top to prevent snakes from getting up the pole, but never had any trouble. At the time I actually used PVC drain pipe which is cheaper than the regular pipe. Not sure what it costs now, but I'm sure it has gone up.
Hello Conrad
By you cutting the PVC cap to fit your pole Gave me a idea [ Smile
And that is ] I can visualize useing
A short piece of PVC pipe A end cab or 2
Dill holes in top and make a Gourd hub for a pole
To hang your gourd rods on. [ Later Unk
