Hey, my PM friends!
Nest check today was thrilling!
15 hatchlings : youngest 1-2 days old
21 eggs left to hatch any day
Of course, I could have missed an egg or two.
One Apt has no nest, nothing. Why is this one not used two years in a row? Haunted?
Seven dusted today again (lightly)
In TX, we have had the craziest weather, temps up and down, big o storms with baseball sized hail twice.
Two of the adults were tangled up in an apartment and I got them apart. The one I held, gave her a kiss on top of her head and off she flew.
Would love to hear your updates.
I recently celebrated 20 years with FedEx Office. Hope I can retire in 5 more years.
PMs are my ❤️!

..Lisa ,,, Sounds like you are having a super season so far... Here in the Southeastern Ohio Valley, our Martins are currently in a mad dash to get their nest built. I will be doing my first nest check for the season around the 17th of May.. Don't expect to see lots of eggs until the 27th or so. Hope you continue to have a wonderful season. Hopefully in 5 years we will see a Great Retirement party for ya... Good Luck....

Good morning Lisa,
Nice numbers! Chicks too!!!! Nice!
Man wouldn't wish that hail on anything or anyone, saw those storms, thus far have skirted us in the south of Texas. However, expecting an active hurricane season, so well see. We need the rain.
Perhaps you have a martin that has two cavities? Guarding it against all comers? Could very well span two seasons. Have that going on here, driving me nuts. Subbie pair is ready to move in but he won't let them. Nests in both his gourds. Big jerk.
Heres to a happy retirement!!!!
