As much as I love the mornings. Drinking my coffee, catching up on my emails and doing a little bit of work while watching my Martins....
My favorite time is the evening.
Specially last year when I had 29 pairs along with non committed SY birds. The show they put on on the evenings is amazing. The circling, The calling, The swooping. And then, in the end, there is 3 or 4 that hit their gourds or T-14 cavities. Then a few minutes later another small group hit their homes. In the end there is always one or to ASY males that are the last to enter their homes. Then it's over. A walk under the gourd rack enlightens me to their content chattering.
