The Purple Martin effort that used to be held almost exclusively by this PMCA forum is now shared throughout Facebook (probably old news to most of you), and probably on other forms of social media. I found Kent Justus on Facebook and he pointed me toward Greg Ballard's Arkansas Purple Martin site on Facebook. After all the activity of going there and posting a few times, the Facebook "machine" that is ever-running in the background and always suggesting new "friends" based on your tendencies or history, automatically suggested Lane Stout's PM Clubhouse. There I found Thurmond Seber and Malcom Stephens posting away. Robert Jernigan operates a Facebook PM site, and he is always exhibiting his fantastic purple martin pictures there. Even James Hill III has a Facebook site on which he places some PM info. I found Dale Hrncirik posting on one of these sites and renewed my friendship with him. Also Mike Dingman, and via Messenger Mike told me about his martin site as well as his fabulously successful bat housing endeavor. After hearing all that from him, I suggested to him that he install a Chimney Swift tower...well, he already had! I found a John Barrow posting or two on one of these sites as well. So the Purple Martin effort is alive and well. Still have not located Sandy Bunn nor the Missouri couple, whose names I have lost, they had gourd lines I believe and made the first cling plate, and they usually came to Finger. Found that Bill Darnell had passed away a few years ago.

Anyway, folks should "lose" their fear of Facebook, yes, it does sort of tend toward dominating your cell phone resources and maybe tries to do the same with your life, but it is a great PM (and Bluebird resource, too) and is helpful during our Corona Virus isolation.

Where the heck is Emil. No post for a while now, right!

Sandy Bunn is on FB but I haven’t heard from him in a while. You can search for folks on there too. I’m trying ti hang around here a bit. FB is not as forumish as here if that’s a word.
I tried to hunt you down in Nashville for several years and finally found you on FB (go figure)!!

Sorry I was gone so long, Malcom, but I do remember when you contacted me way back then. I was just in a rough patch.

Posted this a day later: Did find Sandy's Facebook page!
