I can't say Martins in Melbourne right now, (as news), because they have already been reported here already in late December. However, I was just as excited to see my first one flying in lazy circles around my gourd rack about 4:45pm this evening. I have 2 more racks to put up as the rest start to come in. I keep it with fewer gourds early on in case I have to put some hand warmers in before the last cold front comes through. Just wanted to let you know, and wish you all good luck this season, we always hope for the best and a very successful season, for one and for all.

Thanks Mike! I've been looking and looking. Soon they should start showing up here in south Louisiana. Thought I saw one yesterday but I think it was wishful thinking. Eyes can play tricks on you especially if you're anxiously awaiting. The best to you this season and to our feathered friends.
