Wtih some rain and wind coming in tonight I decided to lower the house about half way around 6 PM. Took the time to check the nests and insert a sparrow trap.
Two nesting pair of Martins. 4 eggs in the house and 5 eggs in the gourd.
There seems to be a bachelor still hanging around in one of the gourds as well.
The sparrows days are numbered with a universal insert trap in the bottom house compartment they have built their nest in. Caught a female HOSP within 5 minutes now its the male HOSP turn.
My question is what time would it be considered "OK" to raise the house back up tomorrow morning? Assuming the rain and T showers have moved through.
