Finally had a SY male show up today.....Not sure how long he was here....I was gone from around 9 am this morning till about 12 noon.....He was here when i got home.....Pair of nesting TS dive bombed him but he sure didn't seem too bothered by them....He sat on the perch rods of the T 14 and then on the peak of it.....He stayed around for 20 minutes or so....even sat there and listened to me talk at him...Hopefully he will return with a female ... Im doing all I can on my part....Had 3 out of the past 7 years with one pair each year....All fledged....Last nesting pair was in 2017.....just lookers in 2018......Hoping for the Best....Dave Sigfrinius

2018 many vistors
2017 SY pair made nest and laid 2 eggs but lost female male moved on

Good luck.

I'm in my third year and last Sunday multiple pairs of SYs showed up. Two pair and one bachelor have been here all week. One pair has been busy making a nest and were bringing in green leaves. I have not observed the same nest building by the other pair. The bachelor has been trying hard to lure in a mate.

I plan to do a nest check tomorrow.

I am also battling a pair of house sparrows. I have ordered a universal sparrow trap from the PMCA that should arrive early next week.
