Hi,
So as you can see this egg got pecked by a house sparrow, about two days ago. I thought the parents were going to take it out, so I left it. Well now the egg is beginning to mold and there’s this green stuff in the nest. Are these insect eggs or is this mold? (You can see it in the picture, I think.) Also should I take the punctured egg out now too? Do you all think they abandoned the nest? The eggs are cold too. There’s been the 5 eggs since Saturday, so she hasn’t laid anymore either. Do you think something happened to the parents?
