2-2-2019 8:am Port Arthur, Texas, had three Martins checking out my T-14 and four gourds. It was not long before the sparrows tried to get them out. As of right now the martins have not return. I think they will return.

Congrats! I think they will be back too they are checking out the area and getting their bearings again. With three birds thats a good sign, good mix too!
They arent in a rush. Hope they start spending the night, watch close at dusk. They will zip right in very quietly.
Figures the rat birds sparrows do that just as the martins arrive. Soon as i put my house up last week the starlings showed an hour later, i just watched them try without sucess to get into the crescents. Wanted to shoot but also wanted to make sure they couldnt.
Do your best to rid the area of those sparrows
If you havnt please report on the scout report.
All the best this year!

A good house sparrow is a dead house sparrow.
