- Martin Colony History: Martin landlord since 2016. 48 super gourds all with crescent openings and porches.
My 3rd year as a landlord. 32 super gourds. Me and my grandson did a nest check today and we were blown away. 64 babies from just born to almost ready to leave the nest plus 48 eggs that have not hatched yet. I know some won't becouse there are 1/2 grown babies and 1 egg in the same nest. I did find 5 dead. 4 in the same nest so I think something happened to the parents. All I can say is WOW !!! Hope yall are having a great year also.

Great! I hope your grandson got a kick out of the baby birds...maybe a new budding Martin fan.
