2017. 76 cavities 36 pairs
2018. 146 cavities

Well it’s chilli cold and just miserable here today ,but I guess when you want to get there you just keep on going ,...up to 9 birds now 7 Asy males and 2 Asy female ,crazy considering I didn’t have any this time last year,my first last year was the 20th March ,.they are getting at taste for the eggs now too some will even leave the crickets and just catch the eggs lol ,earlier you wouldn’t of know there was any here ,I lowered the racks to pull some sparrow nests out and do a check and out they all flew onto the wires ,just get a great pleasure out of these birds ,stay purple people lol

Oh man! That's awesome! You musta been shocked when they flew out. Pleasantly so. :) Congrats and good luck with your season.

I Love that phrase “ STAY PURPLE “ ! That seems to sum up the fanatical love for these birds by all of us bird brained purple Martin lovers! The ones of us that worry themselves sick waiting for their birds to come home every year. Constantly looking for more ways to convey their love to their birds while also trying to convey that love to other people in hopes they will also catch the fever. STAY PURPLE PEEPS! Lol! I love it!

Yes James A Lenz it’s an amazing hobby that gives me and all us true bird fanatics great pleasure and satisfaction ,and stress and worry lol have a great season brother and yep, “stay purple “ lol
