Martin Colony History: Currently have 4 gourd racks with 24 Bo-9/11 gourds on each. All have tunnels and porches. One Lowes martin house.

All,
I don't want to sound like a broken record here but I just feel like I have to share all I can to help out. Folks, please be aware of owls and what they can do. This one didn't get anything from me this night but it could have been a lot worse if I would not of acted and put these cages up. I also want to thank the forum, especially Kathy Freeze, for opening my eyes to this. I had predation from owls a couple of years before I put things together. I just didn't understand what was happening. I never heard or seen one and was totally unaware of what was going on at the time. Take the extra time to investigate things, it's totally worth it. I hope everyone is having a great season!

It is good to see you have an owl cage. I also use a cage around each of my gourd racks. No more Mr. Owl problems and no worrying about if there will be an attack at night.
ImageMite control, heat venting, predator protection and additional feeding during bad weather add up to success.
