I still have SubAdults arriving. I just had a SY male come in today or yesterday and now is looking at another gourd. Martins are crazy this year. Last Nest Check was Sunday May 14 and we had 13 partial built nests at that time. But they are still coming. So people up north the martins are still coming.

You are so on your way Kyler! Congrats!!!!
Saw our first SY female Sunday, and yesterday this SY male began hanging out at the gourds. Already has been bringing a very dark ASY female to visit. Very fun to see. We still have just the one pair (and are very thankful for them), but love listening to 4+ martins. Can't imagine 12 or 13 pair, or the super colony you visited. Have fun!!!

Had some visits (two sittings) last year. A visit this year 2017.
Nice picture. Good to know. I'm still waiting to have some nest here for first time.Kyler wrote:I still have SubAdults arriving. I'm thinking last year must have been a very good year for martins. This year I only offered 12 rooms thinking I wasn't going to be full and it looks like I have a full house.
