We just got back from a 10 day tour visiting relatives and friends..we were blessed with a motorhome to make the trip.. My Son in Law Tim Stoltfus owns the motorhome and did the driving..Today ( MAY 21 ) my first day home, I discovered a youngster putting around the houses with some martins trying to run him to the ground. He could f 11ly good and his yuk yuk yuk was a dead give away that my first nest of youngsters had left the nest.... this is a new record for me ( May 21 .. My record was June first 2 times .... Wow, Victor, that IS early! CONGRATULATIONS!!! I had to laugh when you mentioned the "yuk yuk yuk" sound a fledgling makes. That's how I can tell too.
