Hi All,

I have one of the big multi-purpose poles that was originally built by CUE (Diane Oberlander), the 3" square aluminum pole. It's a champ and has been awesome but I have one problem now I'd like to try to figure out how to solve.

The aluminum hub that hooks to the cable and goes up and down the pole to pull all the stuff up and down originally had some plastic 'buttons' (for lack of a better word) that I think were riveted to that hub and helped it glide up and down the pole more easily. Some of them are now gone and the apparatus shudders and shakes, particularly when you raise it up, a lot more that it used to.

Has anyone else experienced this and found a way to fix it?

I'll try to get some pics and add them, right now it's dark but I wanted to make this post while I had it on my mind.

Thanks!

Teri

I don't know if the PMCA sells them or not. I do know Troyer's has them and I got some last year for the same reason you explained. It is not difficult to replace them; just a little time consuming.

Hi Teri,

The parts you need are called 'glide buttons' (aptly named!) and we do have those replacement buttons available. Please give us a call at 814-833-7656 on Monday and mention that you need the replacement glide buttons for the MPP-you'll be gliding smoothly in no time!

Thanks.

What's involved in actually putting them in place?
