Those PM's are smart and fast learners

I would like to think that I have established a bond of sorts with the PM's I have (1 pair) and two or three SY's

I started making a dog whistle (call)each time I entered the back yard. In the beginning they would flush away from the house if they were perched on top. I started this from afar and worked my way closer to them periodicly making the whistle. I eventually got to where I can walk directly below the house and they won't flush unless I intentional make a fast movement or make a sudden noise.

In one case the male was circleing high overhead and i made this whistle and he spiraled down and landed on the house. I'm sure he didn't come to the call but he was not afraid to land.

The Sy's are skiddish yet tho
