My second pair of martins (yes they are martins), are building nest in two gourds! The female will build like crazy in one for awhile then start taking material to the second gourd (next door to each other).
My question is should I wait and see if they finally decide on one gourd before doing anything? I've read several threads here about a female laying eggs in two nests and landlords having to move the eggs. Do I just wait until egg laying starts to do anything?? Ooops, that's two questions.
