I wanted to share a picture of a mural I had painted on my daughter's wall back in 2010. I sold the house a few years later and hated to leave this room behind. I'm so glad I took a photo to remember.

Please let me know if you can see the picture file as it shows "not downloaded yet." Not quite sure how to get it to work.

Martin Colony History: Started trying to attract purple martins in 2012! It's finally happened in 2017! 5 years!!! ASY male and SY female came May 1st, fledged 5 babies!

That is beautiful! I love art work. I have a wild turkey mural coming down my back steps in my house. They are roosting in a ol oak tree at sunset. You should draw and paint it again in your new house. The PMCA update are taking photos of Martin crafts. Please send it in so they can publish it. I sent a photo in. Good luck this year!

That is so very beautiful. SO nice to look at lovely art work. I agree, you should paint the same scene at your new house.
I bet the birds would love this look too. Ha. GOOD LUCK.

After all the hard work you put into that beautiful painting the new owners most likely didden't waste no time painting over it. What a shame.

My daughter's room turned out beautifully! I'm so happy they are growing up knowing all about purple martins. It just warms my heart to hear their excitement when they see purple martins. Attaching a photo of the mural at our new home.
