2015 successful season
2015 was a great season! More PM than I expected. I had 14 compartments with 9 pairs that fledged 41 PM thanks to information I received on the PM forum. Thanks again.

2017 rebuilding year, 15 nests with 53 hatched and fledged
2018 28 gourds,22 occupied,112 eggs

WOW, those r great numbers. Just goes to show u don't need a lot of compartments or pairs! I had more in both areas and probably fledged less. Congrats!

- Martin Colony History: Start 2009 with one pair. Upgraded from S&K houses to two Trendsetter 12's with gourds beneath in 2013. I have experienced job, pet, and parental losses since '13. The Purple Martins lift my spirits and remind me how life continues forward by flying their little selves from Brazil back to my yard. As one forum person once told me, chin up DebA, look at the martins. Danger all around but yet they soar in the sky without a care in the world.
That is a nice jump! Fantastic stuff.
