USING MIRRORS

I want to attach a few 4x4 mirrors to the outside of my heath house and maybe one inside one of my supergourds. What do I use to attach the mirrors that will stay put in the rain but yet will enable me to remove them with ease when I want to.

Any suggestions?

Terri99. What I've done in the past, and am doing it for the time being, is to use pieces of wood, 1/2 inch thick, by the dimensions the mirror is. I then use duct tape to hold the mirrors on the wood, and use wood screws through the floor, and roof to hold the wood in place. This way, when I'm done using them, I take wood, and all out. This way, there is NO duct tape glue residue left for the PMs to get into. Duct tape glue is apparently the best in the world, and when you remove the tape, part of the glue remains. Since I don't want to have ANY birds get into the glue, this is how I do it. CUL Lou

Took a a couple pics of how I did one.

In this instance I used 2 mirrors back to back with 2 pieces of cardboard between them. I have used wood also. With the cardboard tho, I stuck a "L" bracket in it(between the cardboard pcs.), and taped them together all the way around.

Used a hose clamp to hold the bracket to a porch rail and/or gourd arm.

P.S. In the gourd arm pic you can also see how I mounted the gourd arms to the pole. Just 2 "T" brackets and hose clamps. Have to use a telescoping pole this way. The arms about a foot below the house.
