Haven't seen any, but have my suspicions - What evidence would you look for?

Some signs are obvious depending on the type of housing you use. Natural gourds will have the entrance hole broken, mainly at the bottom edge, there will be scratch marks or puncture holes where talons left their sign. Plastic gourds are harder to tell, but if you use gourd mounting arms, the gourds may be tilted downward because of the owls weight. Nest that are in the building process will be abandoned. My experience has been owls use a plucking post very close to the colony, so feather piles will be found nearby. Others will have more ideas to give.

Look for feathers, bent or out of place perch rods, scratches on gourds or houses and if you have decoys look for any sitting sideways or knocked over (I don't use the decoys, since I don't think leaving them out at night is a good thing) Trail cameras work also.
