Hello everyone

I have been reading all of the post. Just waiting until I was sure I had nesting martins this year before posting. So far I have three nesting pair and maybe two more sy males hanging around. I did my second nest check today and found two nest with five eggs each in them. Doing happy dance. I am so blessed to have these wonderful birds share there lives with me. Hope all of you have a great season this year.

Thanks for sharing and good luck to all the newbies

That's great news Chris, congratulations! May this be the start of a long time being a martin landlord. They need good landlords to help increase their numbers. Please be sure to do your nest checks and take care of any issues, and you will fledge many more birds compared to those who don't monitor their nests and keep their competitors away.

Best of luck!
