What is the approximate range of PMs while they are nesting or nest building? I have seen several martins during the evening hours, but none that stay the night. All the martins I had seen before today were subbies (I think). I saw my first mature male today! Very pretty! Could it be possible that they are out hunting and stopping at my house to rest. I wouldn't think that they would stray too far away from their nest or proposed nest site. Your opinions please.
