Looked out the window this morning and two male ASY's flew right into my gourds!!! Also a pair of starlings came at the same time, shot one and the other flew away. My season has begun!

Martin Colony History: Started trying to attract purple martins in 2012! It's finally happened in 2017! 5 years!!! ASY male and SY female came May 1st, fledged 5 babies!

I have seen that happen. It's like the starlings are just waiting for the martins,

Good luck this year!
