I will be helping to install a few new Martin rigs within next couple of weeks. How close can I put them to existing rigs? I imagine I am asking for the distance between the outlying gourds on both rigs. How close can they be to each other?

thanks,
Paula Z

Any distance you want, but I prefer to leave a little room around the racks to give the birds a glide path between. Mine have a 7-8 yd seperation between poles. That also gives more room for mowing grass.

mine are about 15 20 feet apart. I like mine close but at the length where if one feel it would not hit the others. I think my martins like them close.

Hi Paula ,
My PM Goliad House and Gemini Gourd Rack almost touch each other and I have not encountered any Problems, in fact they are easier to monitor, my setups have always been close together
