I counted 12 flying around today, Looks like the season is starting fast. the only problem is they show up early and leave early my season ends mid to late June

Maybe you can find a friend farther north -- say in Antioch, IL -- where the martins arrive in early April and stay until the end of July or later. This forum used to have a member from there who had loads of fun with her PM colony. :lol:

Our site also, went from 1 on 1/24 to 8 today; beautiful weather and they are already staking out the area! 8)

Martin Colony History: 2017 Had a lot visitors no Matins nesting, hoping 2018 will be different.
2018 Had 1 pair
2019 had 30 pair

I am waiting for mine.

Martin Colony History: 2018 - Had 44 pairs and put out 100+ babies. 3-Super System 24’s. 2019 - Had 48 pairs

Its 3 degrees up here in Central Virginia this morning, coming to Orlando in March, can't wait, it has to be warmer down there. I will have to wait another 3 months to see my first bird!!
