Maybe you can find a friend farther north -- say in Antioch, IL -- where the martins arrive in early April and stay until the end of July or later. This forum used to have a member from there who had loads of fun with her PM colony.

Our site also, went from 1 on 1/24 to 8 today; beautiful weather and they are already staking out the area!

- Martin Colony History: 2017 Had a lot visitors no Matins nesting, hoping 2018 will be different.
2018 Had 1 pair
2019 had 30 pair

- Martin Colony History: 2018 - Had 44 pairs and put out 100+ babies. 3-Super System 24’s. 2019 - Had 48 pairs
Its 3 degrees up here in Central Virginia this morning, coming to Orlando in March, can't wait, it has to be warmer down there. I will have to wait another 3 months to see my first bird!!
