To the folks in the Dakotas, how did the PM's fare during the late winter storm that dumped so much snow in the path of and on migrating PM's?

Martin Colony History: Will add later

Hi! I'm at Grand Forks Air Force Base on the north-east side of the state. I've not seen feather or bill of a Purple Martin yet. They arrived at my site on April 22 last year so I'm holding my breath until they arrive.

No snow here, either. Althought the past two days have been rainy and cold.

I have an 8-gourd EZ Lift/Fountain rack up, and a 3-gourd perching tree rig up but there's only one gourd hung on it. I'm experiencing "gourd shortage" this year. I have one huge horizonal natural I'm trying to modify and paint and have ordered two SuperGourds.

Thanks for the update. When I saw on the news about the amount of snow Bismark recieved I was very concerned. All of the Martins that come to Winnipeg come through your area and typically they begin to arrive between April 17th to 28th. No sign of any yet.
