Thanks everyone.. Although I missed the first Martinfest, I attended martinfest many times and enjoyed many good times with friends. I had my place I sat late in the day as the martins were coming into Victors colony for the evening. Victor knew where I would be sitting and always rode his golf cart around and sat with me until dark. Others would gather around and pull up chairs and join the conversation. I looked forward most of all to those late day talks. Victor was a treasure of martin knowledge and had long ago learned to think like martins. He is missed by all those he welcomed over the years, and I miss him also.. I counted him a friend and he knew that..
I am glad a word was posted here about him and am honored to be mentioned in the same post with him.
