For a couple of seasons, shrieks have shared the martin's B & B tray eggs. Shrieks impale their food (insects, lizards, snakes) on thorns and twigs for later. I had to chuckle when I saw this in my cypress this morning. Notice how meticulously I cut the eggs into little squares for my martins. OCD. Glorious weather today and yesterday...everything has lost interest in the eggs. Yeaaaaay

That is too funny! Our shrikes like the worms and crickets we put out - wish we could get them all to eat eggs, but will keep trying. Nice cubes, Adrian :-)
