I am starting my third year as a PM landlord and have loved every
minute of it. My first year I was fortunate enough to have one pair
with 4 successful fledglings. Last year I had 12 breeding pair and
48 successfully fledged. I just saw my first PM's this year a couple
of hours ago and the joy they bring me(like the rest of you :-) is
just incredible.
Although I have been a registered Forum member for over two years
now, I have only posted on a few occasions. Despite my infrequent
postings, I try and make it a point to read the Forum almost daily
when time permits. The wealth of information available is greatly
appreciated and I thoroughly enjoy reading everyone's comments
and have learned a great deal. I can honestly say a few years ago
I didn't know the difference between a PM and a Tree Swallow :-).
I've always loved birds, I just wasn't that knowledgeable about them.
I sincerely would like to THANK everyone, for it is your passion for
these magnificent birds that has helped me to learn and become a
PM landlord myself. I wish everyone a happy and successful PM
season. Toby

I agree with you. I am the same way. 3 years as a landlord, and hardly ever post. During PM season I log on almost every day to learn something new. Last season I had around 30 pair. What a joy. Again thanks to all of you for the knowledge you share.
