How do you set up a camera in a gourd?

It can be done as long as the router is in range. Some cameras will reach out about 300 feet but most are 75-100 feet max. Another issue is the problem of power to the camera, you will have to power up the gourd. This is usually low voltage 12-24 v DC.Bulldog1 wrote:Can you do it wireless?
I was going to mount one on my bird house out in the water and use a small car battery on the pole to power it, but battery life is very short with a PTZ and sound camera. I ended up with the camera on shore going wireless via a high power router to my router attached to a cable modem. It took quite awhile to get the network up and going(due to my limited electronics understanding) but its working well now.
