I'm wondering if anyone else can share anything about this. I feed and house a huge variety of birds here in my yard. Throughout the winter a small hawk (cooper's?) has frequented the edge of the yard trying to ambush the feeding birds. The instant they see him they flee in all directions. Will their behavior change to alarm calling when the hawk enters the yard during the nesting season? I know the Wren will be screaming, but what about the others?

Kelly. It's possible they all just simply feel saver keeping quiet, and fleeing. However, I'd still think that was a good thing, since if they are feeding (around my place at least) they are chittering. IF they all flee, it gets deathly quiet around. CUL Lou
