I am so excited I can't see straight and can hardly sit here long enough to finish this post. I am a fledgling (first year trying to attract martins). This morning I saw an adult male checking out the two gourds I have hanging under my quad pod housing. Hurray!!
I saw the first fly overs on February 16th. I believe they were looking for the purple martin housing that blew over two doors down.
I have four open quads with SR openings and the two gourds open. Should I wait to open the other eight pods or open them now?
