Martins in Decatur AL today

We had a pair come in today about 11:00 and my friend David had two pair this afternoon, Yeah!

Hi. I'm just south of you in Hartselle. I thought I saw my first sighting yesterday too. However, I'm brand new at this and I couldn't be 100% sure. I have a video camera pointed at my martin house that records all day while I'm gone to work. I can come home from work and zip through my video on the computer looking for activity at my martin house. Late yesterday afternoon I had a visitor that I couldn't quite identify. The sun was setting and the colors were kind of dark but it sure resembled a martin. I'm hoping for a return so that I can get a better look.
