A photo from last year.

I am bored. Still no martins at my colony in Houston. Probably best because of the weather. Anyway to pass the time, I have attached a picture from last year of a gourd I took down to inspect. Inside you will see some baby birds, and, to my surprise the ASY male sitting tight in the gourd. I took pictures, showed my kids and put the gourd back up. Hope the picture comes up.

With the weather we have had,Ive changed my mind and approve of global warming!
My birthday is 2/11 and the birds the last 10yrs or so have been 1 week on either side. They are late!!

I guess I'm just lucky. I live in Pearland and I have had PM's since Feb. 6th. Saturday there were 11 on my houses. Right now I have only 7 staying each night. I was a little worried yesterday because I did not see them all day but they finally came in late. I guess they were really searching for food. I always love to see pictures I hope people post pictures throughout the year.
