Congratulations to Sherry & Jerry Kamrath for reporting Purple Martins in Cairo, Georgia on Monday, January 23, 2006. I am in Tallahassee (FL), just 30 minutes drive south of Cairo.
I just turned on my Purple Martin Dawnsong CD today. I am looking forward to them returning. It looks like the time is drawing near for me.

I was wondering where you were all this time! So your ready too I see? I got everything ready except to put up my new multi-purpose pole. I did play the Dawnsong this morning and all day until dusk! How many pair(s) did you get last year? I got three but was concern that they probably didn't make it through the hurricanes! And the flight there and back too! So I'm still playing the CD and have all holes open just in case! Or if the scouts come back to the hurricane damage areas and find their housing gone then they might be flying around to find another home! Good luck! John! P.S. Good to hear from you! John!
