New Gourd rack site

I have a gourd rack now and I'm in the proccess of building a second one and I was wondering if I should put the new one close to the first one or if I could put it up a ways away. It seems whenever I see multiple houses they are always close to each other. Has anyone tried separating them and how did it work for you?

Thats completely a personal choice, as you can put them as far apart as you wish, there is no limit distance. I once had my separated by 100 ft and they used all of them..
Now for very close setups. If you put them too close together, they may not have an open flyway, you may not be able to get the riding mowers between them, and you may not have working room if they are too close together.
I have mine about an average of 12ft apart. Some people put them in a straight line. I spaced mine so that I could shoot my pellet rifle from a small window and the shooting distance is between 30 to 45 ft on all 5 poles. I also left room to drive my pickup into the back yard...
